Hands on session:
Curve analysis of a 4-axle bogie vehicle



  1. Copy file runf/Master.tsimf into runf/R800.tsimf. Open file runf/R800.tsimf and set curvature radius equal to 800 [m] and cant equal to 0.090 [m]
    Make and animate the curve simulation in program GPLOT.
    For the quasistatic position in the end of the track:
    1) Write down the lateral wheel/rail-forces of leading wheel
    2) Write down angle of attack of leading axle

  2. Copy file runf/R800.tsimf into runf/R800_worn3.tsimf. Open file runf/R800_worn3.tsimf and set character variable ckpfr equal to "Variable_W/R-geom".
    Make and animate the worn curve simulation.
    For the quasistatic position in the end of the track:
    1) Write down the lateral wheel/rail-forces of leading wheel
    2) Write down angle of attack of leading axle
