Rel.1705 is an upgrade package based on Rel.1701.
Before downloading and installing this release, Rel.1701 must already exist on your computer.
Installation of Rel.1705 is made according to the following instructions:
- To calculate conicity according to UIC519 it is important to find a start position of the wheelset
where the two wheels on the wheelset have the same rolling radiuses.
In older releases program KPF just choose the nearest zero-passage,
now KPF searches for the most correct zero-passage by using time-integration.
- If the wheelset moves away from the zero-passage,
when calculating the conicity according to UIC519.
This indicates the wheelset is moving towards another zero-passage.
In this case; set the conicity as undefined and stop trying to find conicities for larger amplitudes.
