Rel.1911 is an upgrade package based on Rel.1908.

Before downloading and installing this release, Rel.1908 must already exist on your computer.

Installation of Rel.1911 is made according to the following instructions:

  1. Create directory "/opt/gensys/gensys-1911" by writing:
    mkdir -p /opt/gensys/gensys-1911
  2. To the directory "/opt/gensys/gensys-1911", download file:
    If you have problems with downloading the file.
    Please check the following:
  3. If the file has been successfully downloaded:
    The size of file gensys-1911.txz should be 167010588.
    The md5sum message digest for file gensys-1911.txz should be 10edb4007a3569e4a7d503f1f14c78b7.
  4. Go to directory "/opt/gensys/gensys-1911" and uncompress the tarball:
    tar -xJvkp --file=gensys-1911.txz
  5. Copy the license file from gensys-1908:
    copy -ip /opt/gensys/gensys-1908/bin/gen_processor_ID_check /opt/gensys/gensys-1911/bin
  6. Open the following four files for editing:
    op ~/.profile_gensys
    op ~/.octaverc
    op ~/Desktop/genfile.desktop
    op ~/Desktop/genterm.desktop
    in all files change to "gensys-1911"
    (directory "~" is your home directory i.e. "/home/gensys")
  7. Log out and in again to make the change to take effect.


  1. In command func intpl_track_irr3 add a ramp of 100m in the end of the track. In order to be able to start the vehicle after the track irregularities and then run over the track with negative speed.


  1. If a percentile scalar is missing in the resu file, write "xxxxx" in the output table instead of stopping the calculations.


  1. New valid command line option "--help".


  1. Added possibility to zoom with the mouse wheel.
