Gensys.1811
Rel.1811 is an upgrade package based on Rel.1801.
Before downloading and installing this release, Rel.1801 must already exist on your computer.
Installation of Rel.1811 is made according to the following instructions:
README_INSTALL_tarball.1811.txt
After clicking on above link, choose "Download through your browser".
If you have problems with file downloading.
Please check the following:
- Make sure that no firewall prevents you from downloading files from the Internet.
- Try different web-browsers, including modern versions of
Firefox and
Chrome.
- New couplings coupl beam_4,
coupl beam_5 and
coupl beam_6.
The couplings are the same as coupl beam_3.
The reason for introducing these 3 new couplings, are for make it easy for users
to make own extensions of the coupl beam_3-model.
- New couplings coupl wire_msg_1,
coupl wire_msg_2,,, up to
coupl wire_msg_6.
The couplings are similar to coupl beam_X
with the difference that a wire do not have bending stiffness, only tension forces.
All coupl wire_msg_X currently are copies of each other.
The reason for introducing 6 equal couplings, are for make it easy for users
to make own extensions of the wire coupling model.

If argument Xtrac_stop is larger than the end of the file,
a ramp in the end of the track will be created.

- Make a error printout in case there is a too big difference between
Y_BOT, Y_MID, Y_TOP and YINT/CM.
The reason for this is that program Mplot is written in single precision,
therefore the user cannot make Y_BOT, Y_MID or Y_TOP very big and at the same
time make YINT/CM very small.
- If command line option "-yes_break" has been set,
and exit status from a subprogram is equal to 0.
