Gensys.2108

Downloading and installation

Rel.2108 is an upgrade package based on Rel.2101.

Before downloading and installing this release, Rel.2101 must already exist on your computer.

Installation of Rel.2108 is made according to the following instructions:

  1. Create directory "/opt/gensys/gensys-2108" by writing:
    mkdir -p /opt/gensys/gensys-2108
  2. To directory "/opt/gensys/gensys-2108", download file:
    gensys-2108.txz
    If you have problems with downloading the file.
    Please check the following:
  3. If the file has been successfully downloaded:
    The size of file gensys-2108.txz should be 152521632.
    The sha256sum message digest can be evaluated with the command:
    sha256sum gensys-2108.txz
    The output from the command should be:
    0192f912044721dfeb28c813216c2ca9eda9c41fea64a2a3be89d166dc019fca gensys-2108.txz
  4. Go to directory "/opt/gensys/gensys-2108" and uncompress the tarball:
    tar -xJvkp --file=gensys-2108.txz
  5. Copy the license file from gensys-2101:
    copy -ip /opt/gensys/gensys-2101/bin/gen_processor_ID_check /opt/gensys/gensys-2108/bin
  6. Open the following four files for editing:
    op ~/.profile_gensys
op ~/.octaverc
op ~/Desktop/genfile.desktop
op ~/Desktop/genterm.desktop
    in all files change to "gensys-2108"
    (directory "~" is your home directory i.e. "/home/gensys")
  7. Log out and in again to make the change to take effect.

Gen_calclib

  1. In Coupl Beam_3: Direction "y" has been added as a valid bending direction.

Kpf

  1. Write GIPw_L, GIPw_R, GIPr_L and GIPr_R to stdout

Opti

  1. Increase number of cases to 99999.

Genfile

  1. From pull-down menu "Unix" launch program xkill
  2. From pull-down menu "Unix -> Text Files" launch program pdftex in order to translate LaTeX document files into pdf-files

Trc_iplas4

  1. Input reading parameter "idx_out" has been replaced with "dx". In order to handle track recordings which don't have an even multiple of measurements per meter.
